~5} Subscriber Refunds. If any subscriber terminates, for personal <br />reasons, Grantee shall refund to subscriber the prepayments that are for the <br />periods} beyond the billing month in which service is terminated. Amended <br />by Ordinance No. I9359, IO/14/85.} <br />Section 1. Extension of Service. <br />~1} Service Availability and Re uest Record. The Grantee shall <br />provide cable communications service throughout the franchise territory pur- <br />suant to provisions of this section and shall keep a record for at least <br />three years of all requests for service received by the Grantee. This record <br />shat 1 be available for inspection by the commission ar its designee at the <br />local office of the Grantee during regular office hours. <br />~~} Service to Individual Subscribers from Existin System. Where <br />a subscriber can be served from the Grantees existing system, without exten- <br />si on of the trunk distribution cable, the Grantee shall serve the potential <br />subscriber upon request on the following terms and conditions: <br />~a} The dwelling unit shall be connected to cable at the standard <br />installation charge if the connection can be made with an aerial drop and does <br />not exceed I50 feet. <br />fib} If the aerial connection drop exceeds I50 feet, the potential <br />subscriber may be charged the actual cost for the distance exceeding I50 feet <br />plus standard installation charge, and Grantee may request advance payment far <br />such installation. <br />~c} If the requested installation is to be placed underground, <br />the potential subscriber must pay far furnishing open trench, as specified by <br />the Grantee, backfilling and restoring to original conditions and Grantee may <br />request advance payment for such work. <br />(d) The potential subscriber shall arrange for all necessary <br />easements over or under private property. <br />Ordinance - 9 <br />
