(2) West University Services District. <br /> <br />(c) In the event a petition requesting that the district be dissolved is <br />presented to the city manager, and the petition is signed by property owners <br />representing more than 50% of the square footage of the district, the city manager <br />shall place the petition on a council agenda for consideration by the council. No <br />more than one such petition may be presented to the council during a period of 12 <br />consecutive months. If the council grants a petition and dissolves the district, owners <br />of property within the district shall be required to continue payments in accordance <br />with this section for a minimum period of two quarters thereafter. Subject to the <br />procedural requirements of its operating agreements, the council may place <br />consideration of dissolution of the district on a council agenda without a property <br />owner petition being filed. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> Subsections (1) and (2) of Section 3.660 of the Eugene Code, 1971, are amended <br />to provide: <br />3.660 Special Services District Occupancy Fee - Payment. <br />(1) The occupancy fee imposed pursuant to section 3.650(1) of this code shall be <br />payable in advance on a quarterly basis. The quarters to which this fee applies shall commence <br />January 1, 2001, and every April 1, July 1, October 1, and January 1 thereafter. <br />(2) The occupancy fee imposed pursuant to section 3.650(2) of this code shall be <br />payable in advance on a quarterly basis. The quarters to which this fee applies shall commence on <br />October 1, 2000, and every January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1, thereafter. <br /> <br />Section 3. <br /> The City Recorder, at the request of, or with the concurrence of the City <br />Attorney, is authorized to administratively correct any reference errors contained herein or in other <br />provisions of the Eugene Code, 1971, to the provisions added, amended or repealed herein. <br /> <br />Passed by the City Council this Approved by the Mayor this <br /> <br />26th day of June, 2000 26th day of June, 2000 <br /> <br /> <br /> /s/ Warren G.
