MWMC WASTEWATER FACILITIES PLAN AND SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT CHARGE UPDATE - <br /> RESPONSE TO APRIL 2, 2004, QUESTIONS FROM EUGENE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE <br /> <br />Water SDCs for EWEB are charged based on meter size. The fee for a 3/4" meter (based on <br />Eugene's 11/02 survey) is $1,860. Additional SDCs for Eugene as of October, 2003, include <br />parks ($1,345 per dwelling unit), transportation ($1,312 per dwelling unit), stormwater <br />($0.142 per square foot of impervious area), and local wastewater ($629, including base fee <br />of $283.8 and charge per square foot of $0.069). The Eugene survey provides SDCs for other <br />communities for a residential customer with 2,000 square feet and 3/4" meter. <br /> <br />It is perhaps more useful to compare wastewater SDCs to other agencies' wastewater SDCs <br />for a typical single-family residence. The following survey data provides a comparison of <br />typical residential wastewater SDC charges among Oregon communities.
