Continuing, Councilor Kelly asked for a memorandum indicating the amount of the City’s voluntary fifth
<br />quarter contribution to the “Branding Program” so that the council could determine what fund it should
<br />come from.
<br />
<br />Councilor Ortiz wished to acknowledge the Fire and EMS Department. She declared that the City of
<br />Eugene had a “top notch” EMS system that was able to provide pre-hospital care for patients on their way
<br />to the hospital facility of their choice.
<br />
<br />Mayor Piercy thanked everyone for coming to the meeting. She shared how much she liked the flower
<br />baskets. She related that she had heard from people “all over town” about it. She thanked Facilities staff
<br />for their efforts and the partnership that made it happen.
