2. The original parcel contains at least 4,500 square <br />feet. <br />3. The street front parcel will contain at least 2,250 <br />square feet. <br />4. Subsection ~5~ of Section 9.546 of the Eugene Code, 1911, <br />is amended to read and provide: <br />9.546 Lot ar Deve1a ment Site Area Re uired Per Dwel1in Unit, <br />(5~ In the GO district, the minimum lot or development site area <br />required per dwelling unit sha11 be the same as the area required in the <br />R-3 district. <br />Section 6. Section 9.674 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, is amended to read <br />and provide: <br />9.674 Decision and A eal Authority. If a zone change is for property <br />proposed far annexation to the city, the planning commission shall <br />recommend a city zoning district designation to the council in conjunction <br />with the annexation, unless it denies the annexation. The city council <br />shall act on planning commission recommendations for city zoning district <br />designations i n conjunction with annexations and on appeals from commission <br />denials. Except as otherwise provided in this section, the council shall <br />follow the procedures in this chapter far annexations when considering city <br />zoning district designations far properties also being considered for <br />annexation. 1f a zone change only includes property already in the city, it <br />shall be approved, modified and approved, ar denied by the hearings official. <br />The planning commission shall act on appeals from decisions of the hearings <br />official. Commission decisions are final. All final zoning district change <br />decisions shall be by order which shall mandate in relevant cases that the <br />zoning map established under section 9.274 of the Eugene Gode, 1971 be <br />amended to reflect the allowed change of zoning district. <br />Section 7.
