~ W ._~. <br />VACATION DESCRIPTION FOR A PORTION OF EDISON STREET <br />A parcel of land in the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of <br />Section 26, Township 17 South, Range 4 West of the Willamette Meridian <br />and beingx more particularly described as follows: <br />.,: <br />. -~` <br />Beginning at a point on the Northerly line of the Soloman Zumwalt and <br />Wife Donation Land Claim No. 41, Notification No. 2091, Township 17 <br />South, Range 4 West of the Willamette Meridian, said beginning point <br />being the intersection of the the Easterly right. of way line of the <br />Oregon Electric Railroad know know as Burlington Northern} X100.00 <br />feet wide} with the Northerly line of said donation land claim, and <br />being North $9° 46' 40" East 338.91 feet from the Northwest corner <br />thereof: thence South 33° 58' East along said Easterly right of <br />wayline, $69.84 feet; thence leaving said Easterly right of way line <br />and run South 89° 27t East 335.43 feet to a point which is 30.0 feet <br />when measured at right angle from the Northerly prolongation of the ~ -- <br />Westerly line of the Replat of Blocks 4,7 and 8 and the South half of <br />Blacks 5 and 6 of the Plat of Bethel, has platted and recorded in <br />Volume 11, page 2S of Lane County Oregon Plat Records}, said last <br />mentioned point being the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING of this description; <br />thence North DO° 07' East 59.83 feet parallel with the Northerly <br />prolongation of the Westerly line of said replat; thence South 89° 45' <br />East 60.OD feet to a point 30 feet East of the Northerly prolongation <br />of the Westerly line of said replat; thence South DO° 07 West 268.25 <br />feet along a line 30 feet East of and parallel to said Northerly <br />prolongation of the Westerly line of said replat to the North line of <br />Be11 Street; thence continue South 00° 07~ West 15.60 feet; thence. <br />-~ South 05° Z6' 30" East 312.83 feet to the northerly right of way line <br />of Edison Street X40 feet wide} as shown on said Replat; thence North <br />89° 51' West along the Northerly right of way line of Edison Street <br />60.29 feet to a point on the Westerly line of said Replat, which is <br />2.12 feet North 00° 07' East from the intersection of the westerly <br />line of said Replat with the easterly right of way line of said Oregon <br />Electric Railroad; thence leaving the westerly right of way line of <br />said Replat and run North 05° 26' 30" West 309.87 feet; thence North <br />00° 47~ East 227.01 feet; to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING of this <br />description, all in Section 26, Township 17 South, Range 4 West of the <br />Willamette Meridian and containing 35,804.50 square feet. <br />The intent herein being to vacate all of that property deeded to the <br />City of Eugene by Reel 276D, Instrument No. 25191; by Reel 276D, <br />Instrument No. 25192; Reel 275D, Instrument No. 22745; Reel 2$8D, <br />Instrument No. 48634 of the Lane County Oregon Deed Records. <br />~ESER~ING herein an easerr~nt for public utility purposes over, under <br />and across the above described property and the right to enter thereon <br />~'or the purposes of construction, installation, maintenance and <br />repair. <br />Exhibit A <br />
