<br />AN ORDINANCE LEVYING/CONCERNING ASSESSMENTS FOR PAVING, SIDEWALKS AND
<br />STORM SEWER IN DIVISION AVENUE, FROM RIVER ROAD TO 15D0 FEET EAST;
<br />PAVING AND SIDEWALKS TN RIVER ROAD FROM DIVISION AVENUE TO 600 FEET
<br />NORTH; AND SANITARY SEWER AND STORM SEWERS TO SERVE THE AREA BETWEEN
<br />RIVER ROAD AND ROSS LANE AND BETWEEN BELTLINE ROAD AND 1200 FEET NORTH
<br />OF BELTLINE ROAD; AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 19234; AND DECLARING AN
<br />EMERGENCY.
<br />The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that:
<br />On March 12, 1984, there was passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor,
<br />Ordinance Na. 19234, levying an estimated assessment against the properties
<br />listed an the Assessment Ro11 attached thereto for paving, sidewalks and storm
<br />sewer in Division Avenue, from River Road to 15o0 feet east; paving and sidewalks
<br />in River Road from Division Avenue to 600 feet earth; and sanitary sewer and
<br />storm sewers to serve the area between River Road and Ross Lane and between
<br />Beltline Road and 12DD feet north of Beltline Road.
<br />Final casts of the project have been calculated, and pursuant to the
<br />provisions of Sections 7.235 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the Council has by motion
<br />declared a deficit in the assessment for Accounts No, 840001--0010, 840001-oD20,
<br />84x001-aD30, 840001-DD40, 840001-0010, 840D01-DD80, 840D01-OD90, 840001-0100,
<br />840001-0110, 840a0~.--0111, 84000.-0112, 84aa01-0115, 84000.-x130 and 8400D~.-0150,
<br />and established December 1, 1986, as the time for hearing objections to the
<br />deficit assessment. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7.24D of the Eugene
<br />Code, 1971, the assessment roll attached to Ordinance No. 19234 should be amended
<br />to reflect the reduced assessment for the remaining account, together with new
<br />Accounts Na. 840001-DD11, $40001-0021, 84aD01-0031, 840001-x041, 840001-0011,
<br />$40001-OD81, 840001-Da91, 840x1-0101, 8400x1-0113, 840001-D114, 84a001-~0116,
<br />840001-0117, 840001-0131, and 84001-0151.
<br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
<br />Section 1. Based upon the above findings, which are incorporated herein, and
<br />pursuant to the provisions of Sections 7.235 of the Eugene, Code, 1971, a deficit
<br />assessment is hereby declared for Accounts No. 840001-OD10, 840001.-0020,
<br />84aoal-~DO3a, 84ooo1-DD4D, 84aoal-DD1a, 84DOal-DD8D, s40Da1-DagD, 84aoo~-a1aD,
<br />840001-D11D, 840001-D111, 840001-D112, 840001-0115, 840001-0130, and 840001-0150,
<br />and Ordinance No. 19234 passed by the Council on March 12,,1984 and approved by
<br />the Mayor on March 12, 1984, is hereby amended by correcting the assessment call
<br />as attached hereto to reflect such deficit assessment.
<br />Section 2. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7.240 of the Eugene Code,
<br />1.911, Ordinance 19234 passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor on March
<br />12, 1984 is hereby amended by correcting the Assessment roll attached hereto to
<br />reflect the reduced assessments for the remaining accounts 1i.sted thereon.
<br />Section 3. The finance officer is directed to make the above corrections to
<br />the docket of city liens and to send a corrected notice of assessment to the
<br />property owners set Earth in Sections 1 and 2 above.
<br />Section 4. Except as herein specifically amended, all other provisions of
<br />Ordinance No. 1.9234 and the assessments provided far therein remain in full force
<br />and effect.
