f~ <br />' J 1 ~+, ~ i <br />4.~ <br />a i `1 <br />T <br />ORDINANCE N0. ~ ~ ~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING ASSESSMENTS FOR PAVING, SANITARY SEWER, STORM <br />SEWER AND SIDEWALKS ON DANEBO AVENUE FROM ROYAL AVENUE TO 11TH AVENUE; <br />AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 19292; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that: '. <br />,,.~, . <br />On October 17, 1984, there was passed by the Council and approved by the <br />Mayor, Ordinance No. 19292, levying an estimated assessment against the <br />properties listed an the Assessment Rall attached thereto far paving, sanitary <br />sewer, storm sewer and sidewalks on Danebo Avenue from Royal Avenue to 11th <br />Avenue. <br />Final .costs of the project have been calculated, and pursuant to the <br />provisions of Sections 7.235 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the Council has by motion <br />declared a deficit in the assessment for Accounts Na. 840003-0290 and 840003-0320 <br />and established January 5, 1986, as the time for hearing objections to the <br />deficit assessment. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7.240 of the Eugene <br />Code, 1971, the assessment roll attached to Ordinance Na. 19292 should be amended <br />to reflect the reduced assessment for the remaining account, together with new <br />Accounts No. 840003-0295 and 840003-0321. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Based upon the above findings, which are incorporated herein, and <br />pursuant to the provisions of Sections 7.235 of the Eugene, Cade, 1971, a deficit <br />assessment is hereby declared for Accounts No. 840003-0290 and 840003-0320 and <br />Ordinance No. 19292 passed by the Council on October l7, 1984 and approved by the <br />Mayor on October 11, 1984, is hereby amended by correcting the assessment roll as <br />attached hereto to reflect such deficit assessment. <br />Section 2. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7.240 of the Eugene Cade, ~' <br />1971, Ordinance 19292 passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor an October <br />17, 1984 is hereby amended by correcting the Assessment roll attached hereto to <br />reflect the reduced assessments for the remaining accounts listed thereon. <br />Section 3. The finance officer is directed to make the above corrections to <br />the docket of city liens and to send a corrected notice of assessment to the <br />property owners set Earth in Sections 1 and 2 above. <br />Section 4. Except as herein specifically amended, all other provisions of <br />Ordinance No. 19292 and the assessments provided for therein remain in full force <br />and effect. <br />
