ORDINANCE N0. ~ q ~ 3 AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING ASSESSMENTS FOR SANITARY SEWERS TO SERVE THE AREA BETWEEN CENTENNIAL BOULEVARD AND 200 FEET SOUTH OF BARDELL STREET FROM 300 FEET WEST OF LINDLEY LANE TO LINDLEY LANE; AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 19266, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that: On October 17, 19$6, there was passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor, Ordinance No. 19366, levying an estimated assessment against the properties listed an the Assessment Roll attached thereto far sanitary sewers to serve the area between Centennial Boulevard and 200 feet south of bardell Street from 300 feet west of Lindley Lane to Lindley Lane. Final casts of the project have been calculated, and pursuant to the provisisans of Section 7,240 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, the assessment ra11 attached to Ordinance No. 19266 should be amended to reflect the reduced assessments far the assessment accounts. THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7.240 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, Ordinance No. 19266 passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor an October 17, 19$6, is hereby amended by correcting .the Assessment Roll attached hereto to reflect the reduced assessments for the remaining accounts listed thereon. Section 2. The finance officer is directed to make the above corrections to the docket of city liens and to send a corrected notice of assessment to the property owners set forth in Section l above. Section 3. Except as herein specifically amended, all other provisions of Ordinance No. 19266 and the assessments provided far therein remain in full force and effect. Section 4. It is necessary that the above corrections be made as soon as possible, and therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
