ORDINANCE No. q U~J ~ <br />An Ordinance initiating the vacation of the following des-- <br />cribed alley, to-wit: <br />The east-west alley located-in Block 2 of <br />Shaw's Second Addition or Shaw and Patterson's <br />Addition to Eugene City ~ now called Eugene ~ , <br />Lane County, Oregon, as platted and recorded <br />at Page 364 of Volume G, Lane County Oregon <br />Deed Records, in Lane County, Oregon. Sacred <br />Heart, Av 86-1} <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS; <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Eugene herein <br />initiate s the vacation proceedings on its own authority without <br />petition or consent of the property owners, except as provided by <br />statute, of the above described alley. <br />Section Z. A hear ing shall be held upon the proposal to <br />vacate the alley as herein provided, and the hearing shall be held <br />on the 23rd day of February, 1987 at 7; 3D p,m, , Pacific Standard <br />Time at the Council Chambers at City Hall, Eugene, Oregon, at <br />which time all persons will be heard upon objections or su a s- <br />gg <br />tions with regard to the vacation, and at said time the Council <br />will provide for the vacation or deny such vacation, and in case <br />the vacation is made, will provide and make provision for an <br />Y <br />damages sustained by local assessment. <br />Section 3. The City Recorder is hereby directed to immedi- <br />ately publish once each week for four consecutive weeks in a <br />newspaper published in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, notice of the <br />proposed vacation, The notice shall give a description of the <br />area to be vacated as herein set out; state the date when this <br />Ordinance was passed, the name of any petitioners etitionin for <br />p g <br />Ordinance - 1 <br />
