ORDINANCE N0. 19 4 8 0 <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING ANNEXATIONS; AMENDING SECTION <br />9.158 OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1971; AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLO~IS: <br />Section 1. Subsection ~2} of Section 9.158 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is <br />amended to read and provide: <br />9.158 Public Hearin . <br />~~} The commission shall review the application and receive pertiW <br />Went evidence and testimony as to why or haw the proposed annexation is con- <br />sistent with the following required criteria: <br />~a} The property is inside the urban growth boundary and <br />annexation would be consistent with adopted plans and policies. <br />fib} Public services and facilities can be provided as pre- <br />scr~ bed ~ n the Metropolitan Area General Plan, applicable ref i ne- <br />ment plans, or applicable special area studies , <br />~c} Annexation will result in a boundary in which services <br />can be provided ~n an orderly, efficient, and timely manner. <br />Section 2.
