x <br />ORDINANCE No , 1.9487 <br />AN ORDINANCE CDNCERNING THE JURISDICTIDN OF <br />PORTIONS OF GZLHAM ROAD AND wILLAKENZIE ROAD; <br />AMENDING ORDINANCE NO, 19454; AND DECLARING AN' <br />EMERGENCY. . <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that: <br />On March 9, 1987, Ordinance No. 19454 was passed by the City <br />Council and approved by the Mayor, requesting that jurisdiction <br />over portions of Gilham Road and willakenzie Road be transferred <br />to the City of Eugene. <br />Section 3 of that Ordinance should be amended to extend the <br />time period for delivery to the City rianager of a copy of an order <br />of the Board of Cammissianezs of Lane County releasing jurisdic- <br />tion of the portions of Gilham Road and willakenzie Road described <br />therein. <br />NOw, THEREFORE, <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS; <br />Section 1. Based upon the. above findings, which are incor- <br />porated herein by reference, Section 3 of Ordinance No, 19454 <br />passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor an March 9, <br />1987 is amended tv read and provide: <br />Section 3, Upon receipt by the City Manager before <br />July 31, 1987 of a certified copy of an order of the <br />Board of ,County Commissioners of Lane County, Oregon <br />releasing jurisdiction of the above described portions <br />of Gilham Road and willakenzie Road to the City of <br />Eugene, the City shall have the same control., power and <br />jurisdiction over the streets as it has over all other <br />streets and alleys within the City of Eugene, <br />Ordinance ~- 1 <br />
