4.395 Licenses, Fees and Exce bons, <br />1 Do~1,,lcenses. <br />~ a} Every owner of a dog which has a set of ermanent canine <br />p, <br />teeth or has attained the age of six ~6} months, whichever event <br />occurs first, shall immediately obtain a license for the dog. If <br />the dog owner manes into the city and his/her dog does not have a <br />current dog license from another city or county, the owner must <br />obtain a license within five days of moving into the city. <br />~2} A,dog license fee shall be charged in the amount provided <br />bel aw. The fee ~ s due and payable upon the i ssuance of the license. A er- <br />p <br />son who purchases a kennel license does not have to license the individual <br />dogs as long as they live at the kennel. Also, a person who urchases a <br />license far ~ p <br />a commercial breeding kennel need not also obtain a commercia] <br />kennel or noncommercial kennel license, and a person who urchases a commer- <br />cial kennel 1 ` p <br />~cense need not obtain a noncommercial kennel license if they <br />choose to operate such a kennel.
