ORDINANCE NO. 19524 <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE RIVERFRONT RESEARCH PAR( <br />COMMISSION; AMENDING SECTIONS 2,013 AND 2.224 OF THE <br />EUGENE CODE, 1971; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The designation of the Riverfront Research Park Commission <br />set forth in Section 2.013 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, is amended to rovide: <br />p <br />2. alp <br />Riverfront Research Park Commission <br />No. of Members: <br />Appointment Process: <br />7 <br />4 members selected by the President of <br />the University of Oregon and appointed <br />by the Mayor <br />3 members nominated by the Mayor, <br />appointed by the Council <br />Term; 2 years <br />Authority: EC 2.220 <br />~Of the terms commencing 1-1-85, four members shall be a ointed for a <br />two ear term and t pp <br />y hree members shall be appointed for a one year term. <br />Section 2. Subsection ~4~ of Section 2,224 of the Eugene Code 1971 <br />is amended to provide: <br />Z.2Z 4 Riverfront Research Park Commission - Membershi Term of Office. <br />~4} For the term of office to commence January 1, 1985, four mem- <br />bers shall be appointed fora two year term and three members shall be <br />appointed for a one year term, Thereafter, each member shall serve for a <br />term of two years from the date of his or her appointment, <br />Section 3.
