ORDINANCE N0. 19528 <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING NOTICE REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTAIN <br />LAND USE APPLICATIONS; AMENDING SECTIONS 8.820, 9.035, <br />9.154, 9.512, 9.672, AND 9.106 OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1911; <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />THE CITY DF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Subsection ~3} of Section 8.820 of the Eugene Code, 1911, <br />is amended to pravide; <br />8.820 A lication, Fee, and Public Hearin Notice. <br />~3} At least ten days before the hearing, the planning department <br />shall mail a notice thereof and information on the nature of the re nest to <br />the a licant owner q <br />pp s and occupants of the affected property, and owners and <br />occupants of property located within 30o feet of the perimeter of the subject <br />property. If the requested sign district change is from residential to an <br />other d~str~ct the notice re y <br />qu~red hereunder shall be expanded to include <br />owners and occupants of property located within 500 feet of the perimeter of <br />the subject property. At least ten days prior to the hearin , the lannin <br />de artment shall g p g <br />. p also past notices of the nature of the request and the hear- <br />ing ~n at least three locations within 300 feet of the perimeter of the sub- <br />ject property. <br />Section 2. Subsection 43} of Section 9.035 of the Eugene Code, 1971 <br />is amended to pravide: <br />9.035 Major Partition and Subdivision Tentative Plan Procedure. <br />~3~ Tentative Plan - Notice to Other Pro erties. Within ten da s <br />of rece~ t of a cam lete and acc y <br />p p urate application and at least ten days be- <br />fore the planning director makes a decision, the planning de artment shall <br />p <br />magi notice of the request to owners and occupants of praperty located within <br />300 feet of the perimeter of the subject property. <br />Section 3.
