ORDINANCE N0. I SJ~ <br />AN ORDINANCE LEVYING ASSESSMENTS FOR <br />paving and storm sewers located in 25th Place cul-de-sac from 200 feet West of <br />Hilyard Street to Hilyard Street in the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon. <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that: <br />On the 8th day of June, 1987, as authorized in the Eugene Cade 7.1608} <br />the City Engineer initiated the proposed 1oca1 improvement consisting of paving <br />and storm sewers 1 ocated i n 25th P1 ace cul -de-sac from 200 feet West of Hilyard <br />Street to Hi 1 yard Street . <br />After due notice and a public hearing thereon before the hearing official, <br />and ~o remonstrances having been filed, the City Council authorized the <br />execution of a contract for the construction of the local improvement on the <br />27th day of July, 1987. <br />The actual cost thereof is ascertained, and the initial amount to be <br />assessed i n accordance with appl i cab1 a provisions of the Eugene Cade, 1971 has <br />been determined to be: <br />(Items 1 to 24 from Pagel of PW ordinance) <br />The City Council has established the method of ,calculating local improve- <br />ment assessments in Sections 7.llo and 7..115 of the Eugene Code, 1971, <br />A notice containing the information required by Section 7.185 of the <br />Eugene Code, 1971 has been posted on a bulletin board at City Ha11 and given by <br />certified mail to the owners of the parcels of real property subject to the <br />assessment more than ten days prior to the public hearing before the hearing <br />official , At the time and place specified therein, a heari ngs off i ci a1 heard <br />ORDINANCE - 2 <br />
