3.6,7,3. .Each such further notice shall be published <br />one time in the Bond Buyer of New York, New York or, if such <br />publication is impractical or unlikely to reach a substantial <br />number of the Series 1988 Bondowners, in some other financial <br />newspaper or journal which regularly carries notices of <br />redemption of other obligations similar to the Series 1988 Bonds, <br />such publication to be made at least 34 days prier to the date <br />fixed for redemption. <br />3.6.7.4. .Upon the payment of the redemption price of <br />Series 1988 Bonds bung redeemed, each check or other transfer of <br />funds issued for such purpose shall bear the CUSIP number <br />identifying, by issue and maturity, the Series 1988 Bonds being <br />redeemed with the proceeds of such check or other transfer. <br />3.7, Purchase in Lieu of Mandator Redem tion. <br />Unless a Series ordinance for a particular series of Bands <br />provides otherwise, if a series of Bonds are subject to mandatory <br />redemption according to a fixed schedule, the City may purchase <br />Bonds which are subject to mandatory redemption, and reduce the <br />amount of Bonds which is required to be redeemed by the principal <br />amount of Bonds which the City purchases. <br />3.5, Execution of Bonds. Except as provided <br />otherwise in the Series grdinance providing for their issuance, <br />the Bonds shall be executed with the facsimile signatures of the <br />City Manager and Recorder, and manually authenticated by the <br />Trustee. Any Bond bearing thereon the facsimile signature of the <br />officers of the City holding office at the time of the <br />reproduction of the facsimile signatures upon such Bond shall be <br />valid and binding in accordance with the terms of this Ordinance <br />and may be issued and delivered by the City even though the <br />person holding such office was not in office on the date of such <br />Bond or not in office on the date of delivery thereof. <br />3.9. Form of Bonds, Each series of Bonds shall <br />be in the form prescribed in the Series Ordinance authorizing <br />their issue. The Series 1988 Bonds, the Series 1988 Credit <br />Agreement and the Series 1988 Note shall be in the form approved <br />by the City Manager or his designee. <br />3.1p. Mutilated, Lost, or Destroyed Bonds, In the <br />event any Bond is mutilated, lost or destroyed, the Trustee <br />shall, on behalf of the City, provide a duplicate Bond in <br />accordance with ORS 288.410 to 288.464, or any replacement laws. <br />Page 23 - Ordinance <br />
