ORDINANCE NO . ~~.~,6~ <br />AN ORDINANCE ELECTING TO RECEIVE STATE REVENUE SHARING <br />FUNDS PURSUANT TO SECTION 221.77a OF OREGON REVISED <br />STATUTES, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The City of Eugene, Oregon, for the fiscal year ending <br />June 30, 1989, elects to receive distribution of funds from State Revenue <br />Sharing pursuant to Oregon Revised Statutes Section 221.770. <br />Section 2. The Finance Director is hereby directed to file a copy of <br />this Ordinance with the Executive Department of the State of Oregon as <br />prescribed by Oregon Revised Statutes Section 221.770. <br />Section 3. Because election to receive State Revenue Sharing funds far <br />the fiscal year ending June 30, 1989 is required by law to be made by the <br />City Gounc~l by enactment of an ordinance and filed with the Executive <br />Department of the State offOregon, it is necessary for the welfare of the <br />City of Eugene that said.f~ling be made without delay, and an emergency <br />~s hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance shall take effect and be in <br />fu11 force from and after its passage by the Gity Council and approval by the <br />Mayar. <br />Passed by the City Council this <br />27th day of June, 1988 <br />Approved by the Mayar this <br />27th day of June, 1988 <br />r <br />Ci Retarder <br /> <br /> <br />a r <br />FNGMSRSO <br />
