X90 3~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND <br />AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL QF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT; <br />Pursuant to the provisions of DRS 227,215 and Sections 8.813, 9.278, and <br />9.668 through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authority <br />and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein; to than e <br />9 <br />the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; ~ _ <br />Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- <br />mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and <br />this City Council, the request for zone change classification is in conformance <br />with the General Plan; there is a public need far the change in zone; and the <br />public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own <br />the specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff <br />Hates of September 2l, 1982 and Planning Commission minutes of September 21, <br />1982 for the reasons set forth therein, and <br />THE CITY 4F EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1.
