X90 3~~ AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON THE CITY COUNCIL QF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT; Pursuant to the provisions of DRS 227,215 and Sections 8.813, 9.278, and 9.668 through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authority and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein; to than e 9 the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; ~ _ Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and this City Council, the request for zone change classification is in conformance with the General Plan; there is a public need far the change in zone; and the public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; NOW, THEREFORE, Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff Hates of September 2l, 1982 and Planning Commission minutes of September 21, 1982 for the reasons set forth therein, and THE CITY 4F EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Change of~zone from County AGT and RA to M-2 Light Industrial District and the Industrial Sign District. Section 2.
