AZ s2-2 <br />ORDINANCE N0. <br />AN QRDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND <br />AMENDING THE zONING MAP 4F THE CITY of EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of oRS 227,215 and Sections 8.813, 9.278, and <br />9.668 through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authority <br />and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change <br />the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- <br />mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and <br />this City Counci 1, the request for zone change cl ossification i s in conformance <br />with the General Plan; there is a public need for the change in zone; and the <br />public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own <br />the specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff <br />notes of September 2l, 1982, and Planning Commission minutes of September 21, <br />1982, for the reasons set forth therein, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. As provided by Sections 8.625 and 9.278 of the Eugene Code, <br />1971, the zoning map, the sign district map, and the zoning ordinance schedule <br />of district changes and the sign code schedule of district changes are hereby <br />amended to reflect the following change of zone and sign district: <br />Tax Lot loo--Assessor's Map 18-04-05, Tax Lots lOOI, 1140, 1101, and a <br />portion of 1004--Assessor's Map 18-04-04, as more particularly described on <br />the attached Exhibit A, located south of West 11th Avenue and west of <br />Willow Creek Road. <br />Change of zone from County AGT 5 and RA to City I-l Special Industrial <br />District and City Industrial Sign District. <br />Section 2. The zoning designations provided for herein shall <br />become effective upon entry of a Final Order of the Lane County Boundary <br />Commission annexing territory described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. <br />ORDINANCE--Page 1 of 2 <br />
