AZ s2-2 ORDINANCE N0. AN QRDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE zONING MAP 4F THE CITY of EUGENE, OREGON THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: Pursuant to the provisions of oRS 227,215 and Sections 8.813, 9.278, and 9.668 through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authority and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and this City Counci 1, the request for zone change cl ossification i s in conformance with the General Plan; there is a public need for the change in zone; and the public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; NOW, THEREFORE, Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff notes of September 2l, 1982, and Planning Commission minutes of September 21, 1982, for the reasons set forth therein, and THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. As provided by Sections 8.625 and 9.278 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the zoning map, the sign district map, and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes and the sign code schedule of district changes are hereby amended to reflect the following change of zone and sign district: Tax Lot loo--Assessor's Map 18-04-05, Tax Lots lOOI, 1140, 1101, and a portion of 1004--Assessor's Map 18-04-04, as more particularly described on the attached Exhibit A, located south of West 11th Avenue and west of Willow Creek Road. Change of zone from County AGT 5 and RA to City I-l Special Industrial District and City Industrial Sign District. Section 2. The zoning designations provided for herein shall become effective upon entry of a Final Order of the Lane County Boundary Commission annexing territory described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
