Qr AN ORDINANCE CONCERNIPdG LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215, Section 9.275 and 9.668 through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Counci ~ has the authority and responsi bi 1 i ty, subject to the 1 imi tatians contained therein, to than e 9 the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; . Based upon the report.of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- .. matted therewith, and the ev7dence presented before the Planning Commission ~~ and this Counci 1, the request for zone change c1 assi fi cati on i s i n conformance with the General Plan; there is a ublic need for the char a in zan p g e, and the publ ~c need can best be served by changing theclassification of the property; NOW, THEREFORE, Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its awn the specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff notes of October 5, 1982, and the Planning Commission minutes of October 5, 1982, the reasons set forth therein, and THE CITY OF. EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: . Section 1. As provided by Section 9.278 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby amended to reflect the following change of zone: Tax Lot 8300--Assessor's map 18-03-06-11, as more particul arty described on the attached .Exhibit "A" , 1 ocated an the east side of Wi 11 ar~ette Street south of East 20th Avenue: Change of zone fram RG Residential District to R-3 Multiple-Fami 1y Res i denti a1 District, Section 2.
