AIZ 82-3 ORDINANCE N0. O O AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE zONING ~~~AP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 8.$13, 9.228, and 9.668 through 9.654 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, the City Council has the authority and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and this City Council, the request for zone change classification is in conformance with the General Plan; there is a public need for the change in zone; and the public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; NOW, THEREFORE, Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff notes of Qctober 19, 1982, and Planning Commission minutes of October 19, 1982, for the reasons set forth therein, and THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN A5 FOLLUWS: Section 1. As provided by Sections $ , 625 and 9.275 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the zoning map, the sign district map, and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes and the sign code schedule of district changes are hereby amended to ref 1 ect the f o 11 owl ng change of zone and sign district : Tax Lots 200 and 400w-Assessor's Map 1803-04-3 1, as more particularly described on the attached Exhibit A, 1 orated on the east side of Capital Drive, east of Cresta de Ruta Street. Change of zone from County RA Suburban Residential District to City RAIPD Suburban Residential District with Planned Urit Development procedures, and application of City Residential Sign District. .. Section 2. The zoning designations provided for herein shall become effective upon entry of a Final Order of the Lane County Boundary Commission annexing territory described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
