AIZ 82-3 <br />ORDINANCE N0. O O <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND <br />AMENDING THE zONING ~~~AP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 8.$13, 9.228, and <br />9.668 through 9.654 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, the City Council has the authority <br />and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change <br />the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- <br />mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and <br />this City Council, the request for zone change classification is in conformance <br />with the General Plan; there is a public need for the change in zone; and the <br />public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the <br />specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff notes <br />of Qctober 19, 1982, and Planning Commission minutes of October 19, 1982, <br />for the reasons set forth therein, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN A5 FOLLUWS: <br />Section 1. As provided by Sections $ , 625 and 9.275 of the Eugene Code, <br />1911, the zoning map, the sign district map, and the zoning ordinance schedule <br />of district changes and the sign code schedule of district changes are hereby <br />amended to ref 1 ect the f o 11 owl ng change of zone and sign district : <br />Tax Lots 200 and 400w-Assessor's Map 1803-04-3 1, as more particularly <br />described on the attached Exhibit A, 1 orated on the east side of Capital <br />Drive, east of Cresta de Ruta Street. <br />Change of zone from County RA Suburban Residential District to City RAIPD <br />Suburban Residential District with Planned Urit Development procedures, <br />and application of City Residential Sign District. .. <br />Section 2. The zoning designations provided for herein shall <br />become effective upon entry of a Final Order of the Lane County Boundary <br />Commission annexing territory described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. <br />ORDIP~ANCE--Page l of 2 <br />
