ORDINANCE N0, tab~~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE ELECTING TO RECEIVE STATE RE1lENUE SHARING FUNDS <br />DISTRIBUTED THROUGH THE OREGON LIQUOR CONTROL COMMISSION <br />ACCOUNT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 1984, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Sectian 1. The City of Eugene, Oregon, for the fiscal year ending <br />June elects to receive distribution of funds through the Oregon <br />Liquor Control Commission Account pursuant to Oregon Revised Statutes. <br />Section 2. The Finance Director is hereby directed to file a copy <br />of this Or lnance with the Executive Department of the State of Oregon <br />as prescribed by Oregon Revised Statutes. <br />Section 3. Since election to receive state revenue sharing funds <br />for t e ~sca year ending June 30, 1984 is required by law to be made <br />by the City Council by enactment of an ordinance and filed with the <br />Executive Department of the State of Oregon, it is necessary for the <br />welfare of the City of Eugene that said filing be made without delay, <br />and, therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this <br />Ordinance shal 1 take effect and be i n full force from and after its <br />passage by the City Council and approva] by the Mayor. <br />Passed by the City Council this <br />1~th day of January, 1983, <br />City Reco3er <br />Approved by the Mayor this <br />12th day of January, 1983. <br />Mayor <br />Ordinance - 1 <br />7:4 <br />
