ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING 1HE CIVIC CENTER COM- <br />MISSION; REPEALING SECTIONS 2.0$4, 2.Q52, 2,Q5~, <br />2.456, AND 2.OS$ OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1971; AMEND- <br />ING SECTION 2.413 OF THAT CODE: AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS; <br />Section 1. 1n accordance with the provisions of Section 2.0$2 <br />of the Eugene Code, 1971, which provides that upon completion and <br />acceptance of the civic center project the Civic Center Commission's <br />authority would cease and it would be abolished, Sections 2.QS4, <br />2.452, 2.OS4, 2.086 and 2.088 of the Eugene Code, 1971 are hereby <br />repealed, <br />Section 2. Sect.~.on 2.013 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is hereby <br />amended by deleting therefrom the reference to the Civil Center Com- <br />mission, and any references which may appear elsewhere in the Eugene <br />Cade, 1971 to the Civic Center Commission are also deemed repealed <br />hereby. <br />Section 3. That the matters contained herein concern the public <br />welfare, and in order to insure the orderly implementation of the <br />provisions hereof, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and <br />this Ordinance shall became effective immediately upon its passage <br />by the City Council and approval by the Mayor. <br />Passed by the City Council this <br />~ 2th day of January, 1983 <br />City Recorder <br />Approved by the Mayor this <br />12th day of January, 1983 <br />Mayo <br />Ordinance. <br />
