AZ 82-4 <br />ORDINANCE N0. ~gQ_gq <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND <br />AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 8.813, 9.278, and <br />9.658 through 9.584 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the City Council has the authority <br />and responsi bi 1 i ty, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change <br />the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- <br />mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and <br />this City Council , the request far zone change classification i s i n conformance <br />with the General Plan; there is a public need for the change in zone; and the <br />public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the <br />specific affirmative findings contained i n the P1 anni ng Department staff notes <br />of December 14, 1982, and P1 anni ng Commission minutes of December 14, 1982, <br />for the reasons set forth therein, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1, As provided by Sections 5.625 and 9,275 of the Eugene Code, <br />1911, the zoning map, the sign district map,~and the zoning ordinance schedule <br />of ~di stri ct changes and the sign code schedule of district changes are hereby <br />amended to reflect the following change of zone and sign district: <br />Tax Lots 4500---Assessor's Map 15-04-03; Tax Lots 1300, 1500, Assessor's <br />Map 18-04-03-2 0; Tax Lots 500, 900, 1100, 1101--Assessor`s Map 18-04-04; <br />and Tax Lot 5100--Assessor's Map 1S-O4-09, as more particularly described <br />on the attached Exhibit "A" located south of West 18th Avenue and West <br />Bertelsen Road: <br />Change of zone from County AGT-5 and RA districts to City AG Agricultural <br />District and apps i cati on of City Residential Sign District <br />Section 2. The zoning designations provided for herein shall <br />became effective upon entry of a Fi nal Order of the Lane County Boundary <br />Commission annexing territory described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. <br />ORDINANCE--Page 1 of 2 <br />
