A/Z $~ -6 <br />ORDINANCE N0. ~~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND <br />AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FIND5 THAT: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections $,813, 9.278, and <br />9.668 through 9'684 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authorit <br />and responsib~l~t sub'ect to the limit ti y <br />,y3 J a ons cunt ained therein, to change <br />the zoning class~f~cation of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans~~ <br />mated therew~ th, and the eve dence presented before the P 1 ann i n Commi ss ~ ~n an <br />this Cit Council th r ' ,g - <br />y e equest far zone change class~f~cat~on ~s ~n conf nce <br />with the Genera] R1an; there is a public need for the change in zone; and the <br />public need can best be served by changing the classifiication of the ro ert • <br />P p y~ <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own <br />the specific affiirmat~ve findings contained in the Planning Department staff <br />notes of December 21, 1982 and January 18, 1983 and Planning Commission <br />minutes of December 21, 1982 and January l8, 1983 for the reasons set forth <br />therein, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1.
