AZ 82-6 ORDINANCE N0. ~C~ AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 8.813, 9.278, and 9.668 through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authority and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change the zoning class~f~catlon of property within the City of Eugene; Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the mater i a1 s tr ans- mi tted therew~ th, and the ev ~dence presented before the P1 ann i ng Commission and this City Council, the request for zone change classification is in conformance with the General Plan; there is a public need for the change in zone; and the public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; NOW, THEREFORE, Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff notes of December 21, 1982 and January 18, 1983 and Planning Commission minutes of December 21, 1982 and January 18, 1983 for the reasons set forth therein, and THE CTTY OF EUGENE DOES ORDATN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. As provided by Sections 8.625 and 9,275 of the Eugene Code, 1971, t e zoning map, the sign district map, and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes and the sign code schedule of district changes are hereb amended to reflect the foil ~ y owing change of zone and sign district: Tax Lot 100--Assessor's Map 17-04-13-21 as more part i cu 1 arl y described on the attached Exh~b~t A, located north of Division Avenue and east of River Road. Change of zone from County RA Suburban Residential District to City Rl Low-Density Residential District and application of City Residential Sign District. Section 2. The zoning designations provided far herein shall become effective upon entry of a Final Order of the Lane County Boundary Comr~i ss i on annexing territory described i n Exhibit "A" attached hereto . Section 3. The Planning Director is hereby authorized and directed to cause t e zoning map, the sign district map, the schedule of sign district classification changes attached to Chapter 8, and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971, to show the ORDINANCE-~-Pagel of 2 PL FORM NO.
