Al 82-7 ORDINANCE N0. ~'~ AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 8.813, 9.278, and 9.668 through 9.654 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the City Counci 1 has the authority and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and this City Counci 1, the request for zone change classification i s i n conformance with the General Plan; there is a public need for the change in zone; and the public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; NOW, THEREFORE, Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the specific affirmative findings contained i n the P1 anni ng Department staf f notes of February 1, 1953 and P1 anni ng Commission minutes of February 1, 1983 for the reasons set forth therein, and THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. As provided by Sections 8.625 and 9.278 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the zoning map, the sign district map, and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes and the sign code schedu1 a of district changes are hereby amended to reflect the fol l owl ng change of zone and sign district: Tax Lot 300 4northeast portion}--Assessor's Map 18-03-03, as more particularly described on the attached Exhibit "A", 1 ocated generally east of Laurel Hill Drive, south of Glenwood Drive, Change of zone from County AGT Agricultural Grazing and Timber Raising District to City RPISR Residential -Professional District with Site Review Procedures and application of Professional Office Sign District.
