Al 82-7 <br />ORDINANCE N0. ~'~ <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND <br />AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 8.813, 9.278, and <br />9.668 through 9.654 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the City Counci 1 has the authority <br />and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change <br />the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- <br />mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and <br />this City Counci 1, the request for zone change classification i s i n conformance <br />with the General Plan; there is a public need for the change in zone; and the <br />public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own <br />the specific affirmative findings contained i n the P1 anni ng Department staf f <br />notes of February 1, 1953 and P1 anni ng Commission minutes of February 1, 1983 <br />for the reasons set forth therein, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. As provided by Sections 8.625 and 9.278 of the Eugene Code, <br />1971, the zoning map, the sign district map, and the zoning ordinance schedule <br />of district changes and the sign code schedu1 a of district changes are hereby <br />amended to reflect the fol l owl ng change of zone and sign district: <br />Tax Lot 300 4northeast portion}--Assessor's Map 18-03-03, as more <br />particularly described on the attached Exhibit "A", 1 ocated generally <br />east of Laurel Hill Drive, south of Glenwood <br />Drive, <br />Change of zone from County AGT Agricultural Grazing and Timber <br />Raising District to City RPISR Residential -Professional District <br />with Site Review Procedures and application of Professional Office <br />Sign District. <br />ORD I NANCE~--Page 1 of 2 <br />
