AZ 82-7 <br />ORDINANCE N0. a~, <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND <br />AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY DF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 8.813, 9,278, and <br />9.668 through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authority <br />and responsi bi 1 i ty, subject to the 1 imi tati ons contained therein, to change <br />the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- <br />mi tted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and <br />this City Council , the request for zone change classification i s i n conformance <br />with the General Plan; there is a public need for the change in zone; and the <br />public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own <br />the specific affirmative findings contained i n the P1 anni ng Department staff <br />notes of February 1, 1983 and P1 anni ng Commission minutes of February 1, 1983 <br />for the reasons set forth the rein, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. As provided by Sections 8.625 and 9.278 of the Eugene Code, <br />1971, the zoning map, the sign district map, and the zoning ordinance schedule <br />of district changes and the sign code schedule of district changes are hereby <br />amended to reflect the fol 1 owi ng change of tone and sign district; <br />Tax Lot 200 western 100 feet, mare or less--Assessor's Map 18-03-03, <br />as more particularly described on the attached Exhibit "A" , 1 orated <br />general 1y east of Laurel Hi 11 Drive, south of G1 enwood Drive. <br />Change of zone from County AGT Agricultural Grazing and Timber <br />Raising District to City RA Suburban Residential District. <br />Section 2. The zoning designations provided for herein shat l <br />become a ect~ ve upon entry of a Fi nal Order of the Lane County Boundary <br />Commission annexing territory described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. <br />ORDINANCE--Page 1 of 2 <br />
