AZ 82-7 <br />ORDINANCE N0. ~~_ <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND <br />AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 221.215 and Sections 9.218 and 9.668 <br />through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authority <br />and responsi bi 1 i ty, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change <br />the zone ng cl assn f~ cati on of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- <br />m~tted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission <br />and this City Counci 1, the request for zone change c1 assi f i cati on i s i n con <br />farmance w~ th the General P1 an; there i s a publ i c need for the change i n zone; <br />and the public need can best be served by changing the classification of the <br />property; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the <br />specific affirmative findings contained i n the Planning Department staff notes <br />of February 1, 1983, and the Planning Commission minutes of February 1, <br />1983, far the reasons set forth therein, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. As provided by Section 9.278 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the <br />zoning map an t e zoni ng ordinance schedule of district changes are hereb <br />y <br />amended to reflect the following change of zone: <br />Tax l of s 800 , 900 , 1000 , 1100 , 1200 , 1500 , 1600 , 1700 , 1800 , 1900-r <br />Assessor's Map 18-~03-~03w2 3, as more particularly described on the <br />attached Exhibit A, located general 1y east of Laurel Hi 11 Drive, south <br />of Glenwood Drive. <br />Change of Zane from RA Suburban District to C-21SR Community Commercial <br />with Site Review Procedures, and application of Outlying Commercial Si n <br />9 <br />District. <br />Section 2. The Planning Director i s hereby authorized and directed <br />to cause he ~zoni ng map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district chap es <br />9 <br />attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971, to show the foregoing <br />ORDINANCE-~-Page 1 of 2 <br />
