AZ 52-$ <br />ORDINANCE N0. ~~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND <br />AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL DF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 8.813, 9.215, and <br />9.668 through .9 :684 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the City Counc i ~ has the authority <br />and respons~b~l~ty, subject to the l~mitat~ons contained therein, to change <br />the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the P1 anni ng Commission, the materials trans- <br />mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and <br />this City Council , the request for zone change classification i s i n conformance <br />with the General Pi an; there is a public need for the change in zone; and the <br />public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own <br />the specific affirmative findings contained i n the Planning Department staf f <br />notes of February 1, 1983 and Planning Cornmi ssi on minutes of February 1, 1983 <br />for the reasons set forth therein, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. As provided by Sections 8.625 and 9.215 of the Eugene Code, <br />1911, t e zone ng map, the sign district map, and the zoning ordinance schedul e <br />of district changes and the sign code schedule of district changes are hereby <br />amended to reflect the following change of zone and sign district: <br />Tax Lots 900, 1100, and 1500--Assessor's Map 17-03-28-3 D <br />Tax Lots 3400, 3500, 3600, 3900, and portion of 260D--Assessor's Map <br />17-03~-29-3 0 <br />Tax Lots 301, 1D0, 800, 900, and 1000--Assessor's Map 11-03-29~-4 0 <br />Tax Lots 100, 200, 400, 500, and 600--Assessor's Map 11-03-32-1 1 <br />Tax Lots 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, and 1000-- <br />Assessor's Map 11-03-32-1 2 <br />ORDINANCE--Page 1 of 2 <br />
