Az 82-8 <br />ORDINANCE N0. ~~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND <br />AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY DF EUGENE FINDS THAT; <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 8.813, 9.278, and <br />9,668 through • 9 :684 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Counci i has the authori t <br />and res ons~b~l~t sub ect to the 1'm' y <br />P •Y ~ • ~ ~ i tats vns conta~ ned thereT n, to change <br />the zoning cl assn f ~ cati on of property w~ the n the C~ ty of Eugene; <br />• Based upon the report of the P1 anni ng Commi ssi on, the materials trans- <br />mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Plannin Commission and <br />this Ci t Counci 1 g <br />y , the request for zone change classification is in conformance <br />with the General Plan; there is a public need far the thane in zone' and the <br />ublic need c n ~ 9 <br />p a best be served by change ng the cl assn f ~ cati on of the pro erty; <br />P <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon•the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own <br />the spec~f~c affirmative findings contained in the Planning De artment staff <br />notes of Februar 1 1983 ~ ~ p <br />y and P1 ann~ ng Commi ssi on m~ notes of February 1, 1983 <br />for the reasons set forth therein, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. As provided by Sections 8.625 and 9.278 of the Eu ene Code <br />1971 the zan~n ma h g <br />g p, t e s~ gn d~ str~ ct map, and the zone ng ord~ Hance schedu1 e <br />of district changes and the sign code schedule of district than es are hereb <br />amended to reflect th •g y <br />e following change of zone and s~ gn d~ str~ ct: <br />Tax Lot 600--Assessor's Map 17-03-33-2 2, as more particularly described <br />on the attached Exhibit A, located east of Coburg Road, west of I-5 <br />Highway and south of Centennial Road. <br />Change of zane from County PR Public Reserve District to Ci t RA <br />Low-Densit Residential D' y <br />y ~ strict. <br />Section 2, The zoning designations provided for herein shall <br />become effective upon entry of a Final Order of the Lane Count Boundar <br />. ~, ~t y Y <br />Commi ssi on annexing territory descry bed ~ n Exh~ b~ t A attached hereto. <br />Section 3.
