A7 ~3~-1 <br />ORDINANCE N0. <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASS iF I CAT I ON AND <br />AN~END~NG THE BONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL GF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 221, X15 and Sections 8.513, 9.218 , and <br />9.6bS through 9. fi84 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Counci 1 has the authority <br />and responsi bi 1 i ty, subject to the ~ imi tativns contained therein, to change <br />the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- <br />mi tied therewith, and the evidence presented before the P1 anni ng Commission and <br />this City Council , the request for zone change classification i s in conformance <br />with the General Plan; there i s a publ i c need for the change in zone; and the <br />public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own. <br />the spedfic affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff <br />Hates of March 15, 1983, and P1 anning Cammi ssion minutes of March 15, 1983, <br />for the reasons set forth therein, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. As provided by Sections 8.625 and 9.278 of the Eugene Code, <br />1971, the zone ng map, the sign district map, and the zoning ordinance schedul e <br />of district changes and the sign code schedule of district changes are hereby <br />amended to reflect the fol 1 owi ng change of zone and sign district: <br />Tax Lot 1000-Assessor's Map 11-04-~25-1 2, as more particularly described <br />an the attached Exhibit A, 1 ocated between the Wil 1 amette River and River <br />Road, north of Lombard Lane: <br />Change of zone from County RA Suburban Residential District to City R-2 <br />Limited Multiple-Fami 1 y Resi denti a] District. <br />Section 2. The zoning designations provided for herein shat 1 <br />became a ect~ ve upon entry of a Fi Hal Drder of the Lane County Boundary <br />Commission annexing territory described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. <br />Section 3. The Pi anning Director i s hereby authorized and directed <br />to cause t e zoni ng map, the sign district map, the schedule of sign district <br />classification changes attached to Chapter 8, and the zoning ordinance schedul e <br />of district changes attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971, to show the <br />ORDINANCE--Page 1 of 2 <br />
