AZ 83-Z ORDINANCE N0. AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE ~CNING MAP CF THE CITY CF EUGENE, OREGON THE CITY COUNCIL CF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: Pursuant to the provisions of CRS 227.215 and Sections 8.813, 9.278, and 9. Gb8 through 9.584 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, the City Counc i 1 has the authority and responsi bi 1 i ty, subject to the 1 i mi tations contained therein, to change the zone ng cl assn f~ cati on of property within the City of Eugene; Based upon the report of the Pl arming Commission, the materials trans- m~ tted therew~ th , and the ev ~ dent a presented before the Planning Commi ss i a n and this City Caunci l , the request for zone change classification i s i n conformance with the General Plan; there i s a publ is need for the change in zone; and the public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; NOW, THEREFORE, Based upon the foregai ng, the City Counci ] hereby adopts as its own the specific affirmative findings contained i n the P1 anni ng Department staff notes of March 15, 1983, and Planning Commission minutes of March 15, 1983, for the reasons set forth there n , and THE CITY CF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Secti an 1.
