Z 831 ORDINANCE N0. 19135 AN aRDINANCE L'ONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND AN~ENUING THE zONING NlAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, UREGON THE CITY CDUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: Pursuant to the provisions of aRS 227,215 and Sections 9.275 and 9.555 through ~~ 554 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the City Counci 1 has the authority and response b~ 1 ~ ty, subs ect to the 1 imi tati ons contained therein, to change the zoning c1 assi fi cati an of property within the City of Eugene; . Based upon the report of the P1 anni ng Cofi~imi ssi on, the materi a1 s trans- m~ tted therew~ th, and the eve Bence presented before the P1 anni ng Commission and this City Counci 1, the request fvr zone change c1 assi fi cati on i s i n con- formance with the General Plan; there is a public need fvr the change in zone; and the public need can best be served by change ng the classification of the property; NOW, THEREFORE, Based upon the foregoing, the City Counci 1 hereby adopts as its own the specific affirmative f i ndi nos contained i n the P1 a~nni ng Department staf f notes of March 15, 1953, and the P1 anni ng Commission r~i notes of March 15, 1983, for the reasons set forth therein, and THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS; Section 1 As provided by 5ecti on 9, 278 of the Eugene Cade, 1911 the zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby amended to reflect the fo1 i owi ng change of zone: Tax Lats 30U and 301--Assessor's Map 17~-04-33, as more particui arly described on the attached Exhibit A, located east on Danebo Street, north of West E1 eventh Avenue: Change of zone from PL Public Land to RA Low-Density Residential District. 5ecti on 2 .
