([. 83-2) ORDINANCE N0. ~~~ AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON THE CITY COUNCIL DF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: Pursuant to the provisions of DRS 227.215 and Sections 9, 218 and 9,fifi8 through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the City Council has the authority and responsi bi ~ i ty, subject to the ~ imi tati ons contained therein , to change the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; Based upon the report of the Planning Commission , the materials trans- mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the P1 anni ng Commission and this City Council , the request for zone change classification i s i n con form~ance with the General Pi an; there is a public neer~ for the change in zone; and the public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; NOW, THfREFDR£, Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adepts as its own the sped f~ c aff~ rmat~ ve f ~ nd~ ngs contained i n the Planning Department staff notes of April 5, 1983, and the Pi anni~ng Commission minutes of April 5, 1883, for the reasons set forth therein, and THE CITY DF EUGEN£ ODES ORDAIN AS FO~.LDWS: Section 1. As provided by Section 9.278 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the zoning map and the zoning or~di Hance schedule of district changes are hereby amended to refl pct the following change of zone Tax tot 2OO and a porti on of Tax Lots 301, 3U3 , and 304 ~Asse sor' s Map 11-04-~36-2 4, as more particularly described on the attached Exhibit A, ~ oc ated at the northwest corner of Chambers Street and 9th Avenue Change of zone from RA 5uburan Residential District and RGJSR Garden Apartment Residential District with site review procedures to RP/SR Re~sidenti al Professional District with site review procedures, said site review procedures concerns as set forth in Exhibit B, attached. Section 2 .
