<br />NOTICE IS~~HEREBY G2vEN that at a meeting of the City Council
<br />of the City of Eugene, held at the Council Chambers at City Hall,
<br />Eugene, Oregon. on the 8th day of June, x.983, there were passed by
<br />the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the City of Eugene,
<br />Lane County, Oregon, ordinances setting hearings to be held on the
<br />13th day of July, 1983, at 12:00 noon, Pacific Daylight Time, at
<br />the Council Chambers at City Hall, Eugene, Oregon, for the purpose
<br />of hearing remonstrances and protests against the vacation by Ordi-
<br />nance of the City Council of the followings

<br />A 46 foot radius cul~de-sac on Marshall Avenue, and a 12 foot
<br />wide pedestrian-bikeway easement linking the Marshall Avenue.
<br />cul~-de~-sac with ~'acobs Street, located west of Jacobs Street
<br />and south of Concord Avenue, being situated on Assessor's Map
<br />17~-0~-22~-41, Tax Lot 1401, in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon.
<br />RESERVING herein public utility easements for underground pri-
<br />mary voltage and water Lines along the northern property line
<br />of Solvang and the right to enter thereupon for purposes of
<br />installation, maintenance and repair, and emergency vehicular
<br />access easements providing turnaround and exit capabilities
<br />over the cu1~-de-sac and pedestrian-bikeway path. {Solvang

<br />NOTICE OF STREET vAC.ATION~
<br />The public rzght~-of-way located an the east side of River Road,
<br />between Green Lane and Division Avenue, commonly known as Edge-
<br />waod Drive, which runs east from River Road approximately 875
<br />feet {Tax Lots 3000, 3100, 320D, 3340, 3400, 3500, 3600,
<br />Assessor's Map 17-04-11-~4 4 and Tax Lots 2900, 3000, 3100,
<br />3240,. Assessor' s Map 17-04-~12-~3 0 ~ , in Eugene, Lane County,
<br />Oregon.
<br />SUBJECT TO: Retention of a public utility easement over the
<br />vacated area unless a. relocation agreement is executed between
<br />EWEB and Hayden island, inc.; that Hayden Island, Inc. exer-
<br />cises options for purchase of the affected properties prior to
<br />the above hearing date; and, a'written agreement regarding
<br />access for Tax Lot 2900 is recorded prior to the hearing date.

<br />The City Council will consider and act upon the proposed vacations,
<br />which are more particularly described in the above referred to Ordi-
<br />nances, on the 13th day of July, 1983, at 12:00 o'clock noon, Pacific
<br />Daylight Time, at the Council Chambers at City Hall, Eugene, Oregon,
<br />and will consider Ordinances vacating the above. All persons having
<br />abjectians thereto or remmonstrances or protests are hereby notified
<br />to present the same to the City Council a.n writing prior to said hear-
<br />ing or at said time and place.
