Inspection reports issued <br />by the building official on any covered residential <br />building shall be sent either by registered or certified mail, <br />or served personally, on all persons having an interest in and <br />to such property, as shown by the records of the county <br />assessor. ,The report shall contain among other things the <br />following information: <br />~a} The name of the owner or other persons inter- <br />ested, as provided hereinabove. <br />fib} The street address or legal description of <br />the property on which the covered residential building <br />is located. <br />4.c} In what respects the covered residential <br />building or portion thereof does not comply with the <br />requirements of this code. <br />~d} The finding of the building official as to <br />what steps it will be necessary to take to comply with <br />the requirements of this code. <br />Section 4. The present Section 8.295 of the Eugene Code, 1971, <br />is hereby renumbered 5.300 and amended to read and provide: <br />5.300 Duties of owners and Others,~Notices. <br />~l} The owner of a covered residential building shall <br />be responsible for compliance. with this code, any findings of <br />the building official and orders of the weatherization board of <br />appeals. All other persons in possession of any covered resi- <br />dential building or portion thereof shall comply with this code, <br />any findings of the building official and orders of the <br />weatherization board of appeals, insofar as this code, the find- <br />ings or orders shall affect the possessors. <br />~z} No owner of any covered residential building to <br />whom any notice of a violation of this code has been given shall <br />sell, transfer or grant such property to another until compliance <br />with the provisions of this code has been secured; or unless the <br />owner shall furnish to the purchaser, transferee or grantee, <br />prior to such sale, transfer ar grant, a true copy of the notice <br />and, at the same time, give adequate notification to the build- <br />ing official of his intent to sell, transfer or grant, and <br />supply the name and address of the person to whom the sale, <br />transfer ar grant is proposed. A purchaser, transferee or <br />grantee, who has been informed of the existence of any viola- <br />tion of this code, shall be bound thereby. <br />Section 5. The present Section 5.300 of the Eugene Code, 1971, <br />is hereby renumbered 8.305 and amended to read and provide: <br />ordinance - 9 <br />
