ORDINANCE NO. ~~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE PATRGN USER FEE TAB; <br />AMENDING SECTION 3.810 of THE EUGENE CODE, 1971; <br />PROV2DTNG AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. . <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES QRDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Subsection ~~} of Section 3.814 of the Eugene Code, <br />1971, is hereby amended to read and provide: <br />3.810 <br />~~~ For the privilege of attending an event there is <br />hereby added to the admission fee. for each attendee a patron <br />user fee of $0. I~S~ 50, The patron user fee shall be: <br />~a} collected at the time the admission fee is <br />paid, <br />~b7 in addition~to the admission fee, and <br />~c} separately stated on any receipt for the <br />admission fee. ~ ~ . <br />Section 2. That the matters contained herein concern the public <br />welfare and in order to ensure the orderly implementation of the pro- <br />visions hereof, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this <br />Ordinance shall became effective on ~'uly 1, 1983, except that the <br />increased fee provided for herein shall not apply far tickets printed <br />and~+or distributed prior to that date for events occurring after that <br />date, which shall require payment of the fee as printed thereon. <br />Passed by the City Council this <br />~~ day of ~'une , 19 8 3 <br />~Ct.~t9-.,c.. <br />City Rec rder <br />Approved by the Mayor this <br />a-~,•~, day of June 1983 <br />c <br />Mayer <br />Ordinance. <br />
