AIZ 83-5 <br />ORDINANCE N0. _~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSiFiCATiON AND <br />AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227 ,215 and Sections 8,813, 9,278, and <br />9.668 through 9,684 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authority <br />and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change <br />the zoning classification of property within the City of Eu ene; <br />9 <br />Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materi a1 s trans- <br />m~tted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and <br />this City Caunci l , the request for zone change c1 assi i cati on i s i n conformance <br />with the General Plan; there is a public need for the ange in zone; and the <br />pub1 i c need can best be served by changing the cl assi f i c ti on of the property; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as~its awn <br />the specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff <br />notes of June 14, 1953; and Planning Gommi ssi on minutes of June 14, 1953, <br />for the reasons set forth therein, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Secti vn 1, As provided by Sections 8.625 and 9,275 of the Eugene Code, <br />1971, the zoning map, the sign district map, and the zoning ordinance schedule <br />of district changes and the sign code schedule of district than es are hereb <br />g Y <br />amended to reflect the following change of zone and sign district: <br />Tax Lots 500, 600, 700, <br />1600 , 1800 , l 900 , 2000 , <br />Tax Lots 100, 200, 300, <br />1300, 1400, 1500, 1600, <br />2500 , 2700 , 2500 , 2900 , <br />3800 , 3900 , 4000 , 4100 , <br />5000, 5100--Assessor's <br />the attached Exhibit A, <br />River Road, <br />S00 , 900 , 1000 , 1100 , 1200 , 1300 , 1400 , 1500 , <br />2100, 2200, 2400, 2500--Assessor's Map 17-04-14-1 1; <br />400 , 500 , 600 , 700 , 800 , 900 , 1000 , 1100, 1200 , <br />1700 , 1800 , 1900 , 2000 , 2100 , 2200 , 2300 , 2400 , <br />3000 , 3100 , 3200 , 3300 , 3400 , 3500 , 3600 , 3700 , <br />4200 , 4300 , 4400 , 4500 , 4600 , 4700 , 4800 , 4900 , <br />Map 17-04-14-1 Z, as more .particularly described an <br />1 ocated on the north side of Si 1 ver Lane, west of <br />Change of zone from R-1 Single-Family Residential District i n the County <br />to City R-1 Low-Density Residential District. <br />Section 2, The zoning designations provided far herein shall <br />become e f ect~ ve upon entry of a Fi nal Order of the Lane County Boundary <br />Commission annexing territory described i n Exhibit "A" attached hereto. <br />ORDINANCE--Page 1 of 2 <br />
