A/Z 83.6 <br />ORDINANCE N0. \q~.~ <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND <br />AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY DF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: <br />Pursuant-to the provisions of ORS 221.215 and Sections 8,813, 9.278, and <br />9.668 through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the City Counci ~ has the authority <br />and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change <br />the zani ng classification of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the Planning Commi ssi on, the materials trans- <br />mi tted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commi ssi on and <br />this City Counci 1, the request far zone change classification i s i n conformance <br />with the General Pi an; there is a public need far the change in zone; and the <br />public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own <br />the specific affirmative findings contained i n the Planning Department staff <br />notes of July 12, 1983 and P1 anni ng Commi ssi on minutes of July 12, 1983 for the <br />reasons set forth therein, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DDES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. As provided by Sections 8.625 and 9,278 of the Eugene Code, <br />1971, the zoning map, the sign district map, and the zoning ordinance schedule <br />of district changes and the sign code schedule of district changes are hereby <br />amended to reflect the fol 1 owl ng change of zone and sign district: <br />Tax Lots 2800, 2900, 410Q, 4200, 4500, 4501, 4600, 4700, 4800, 5100 <br />5101, 5900, 6000, and a portion of Tax Lot 5400--Assessor's Map <br />17-04-12-30; Tax Lots 1800, 1900, 2000, 2001, 2042---Assessor's Map <br />17-04-12-40, as more particularly described on the attached Exhibit A, <br />located north of Division Avenue, east and west of Ross Lane. <br />Change of zone from County RA Suburban Resi denti a] District to City <br />RA Suburban Residential Di stri ct~ .and application of City Residential <br />Sign District. <br />Section 2. The zoning designations provided for herein shat 1 <br />become effective upon entry of a Fi Hal Order of the Lane County Boundary <br />Commi ssi on annexing territory described i n Exhibit "A" attached hereto. <br />Section 3.
