ORDINANCE N0. _~~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING ASSESSMENTS FOR PAVING AND STORM <br />ON MCKENDRICK STREET FROM GRAHAM DRIVE TO KARYL AVENUE; <br />AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 19070; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that: <br />On November 22, 1982, there was passed by the Council and approved by the <br />Mayor, Ordinance No. 19070, levying an estimated assessment against the <br />properties listed on t~~~e Assessment Roll attached thereto for paving and storm <br />sewer on McKendrick Street f~r•om Graham Drive to Karyl Avenue. <br />Final costs of the project have been calculated, and pursuant to the <br />provisions of Sections 7.235 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the Council has by <br />motion declared a deficit in the assessment for Account No. 8200080090 and <br />established July 13, 19,83 as the time far hearing objections to <br />the deficit assessment. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7.240 of the <br />Eugene Code, 1971, the assessment ro11 attached to Ordinance No. 19070 should <br />be amended to reflect the reduced assessments far the remaining accounts, <br />together with the deficit assessment for Account No. 8200080090. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Based upon the above findings, which are incorporated herein, <br />and pursuant to the provisions of Sections 7.235 of the, Eugene Code, 1971, a <br />deficit assessment is hereby declared for Account No. 8200080090, and Ordinance, <br />No. 19070 passed by the Council on November 22, 1982 and approved by the Mayor ; <br />on November 22, 1982, is hereby amended by correcting the assessment ra11 as <br />attached hereto to reflect such deficit assessment. <br />Section 2. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7.240 of the Eugene Code, <br />1971, Ordinance No. 19070 passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor on <br />November 22, 1982 is hereby amended by correcting the Assessment Ra11 attached <br />hereto to reflect the reduced assessments for the remaining accounts listed <br />thereon. <br />,_ ti . <br />Section 3. The finance officer is directed to make the above corrections <br />to t e dac et of city liens and to send a corrected notice of assessment to the <br />property owners set forth in Sections 1 and 2 above. <br />Sectian~4. Except as herein specifically amended, all other provisions of <br />Ordinance Na, 19070 and the assessments provided for therein remain in full <br />force and effect . <br />Section 5.
