z 83-6 <br />ORDINANCE N0. ~~ S <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE AND SIGN DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AND SIGN <br />DISTRICT MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT; <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 8.813, 9.278, and <br />9.668 through , 9 :684 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Counci 1 has the authority <br />and response b~ 1 i ty, subaect to the 1 imi tati ons contained therein, to change the <br />zani ng and sign district classification of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the P1 anni ng Commission, <br />m~ tted therew~ th, and the eve Bence presented before the <br />this City Council , the request for zone change and sign <br />c1 as~si f i cati on i s i n conformance with the General P1 an; <br />for the change in zone; and the public need can best be <br />classification of the property; <br />NOw, THEREFORE, <br />the materials trans- <br />P1anni ng Commission and <br />district change of <br />there is a public need <br />served by changing the <br />.~ ~. <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the <br />specific affirmative findings contained i n the P1 anni ng Department staff notes <br />of July 19, 1983, and the P1 anni ng Commission minutes of July 19, 1983, for the <br />reasons set forth therein, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLO~~S: <br />Section 1. As provided by Sections 9.278 and 8.625 of the Eugene Code, <br />1971, the zani ng map, the sign district map, and the zani ng ordinance schedul e <br />of district changes and the sign code schedu1 e of district changes are hereby <br />amended to reflect the fol 1 awi ng change of zone and sign district: <br />Tax Lots 1200, 1204, and 1300--Assessor's Map 17-03-18, as more <br />party cut arty descry bed an the attached Exhibit "A" , 1 ocated on the <br />northeast corner of Greenacres Road and Delta Highway: <br />Change i n zone from C-1/PD Neighborhood Commerci a1 District with <br />Planned Unit Development procedures and R-2120 PD Limited Mul ti pl e- <br />Fami ly Residential District with ZO units per acre density with <br />Planned Unit Development pracedures to C-ZISR Community Commercial <br />District with Site Review procedures, said site review procedures <br />addressing concerns as set forth i n Exhibit "B" , and a change of Sign <br />District for Tax Lot 1300--Assessor`s Map 17-03-18 from Residential <br />Sign District to Integrated Shopping District. <br />ORDINANCE--Page 1 of 2 <br />
