ORDINANCE NO. Q <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE LIBRARY BOARD; AMEND- <br />ING SECTIONS 2.013 AND 2.293 OF THE EUGENE CODE, <br />1971; AND DECZARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />THE CITY of EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The table of boards, commissions and committees <br />set forth in subsection ~1} of Section 2.013 of the Eugene Code, <br />1971, is hereby amended by changing the designation of the number <br />of members on the Library Board set forth therein from 5 to 7. <br />Section 2. Subsection ~.2} of Section 2.293 of the Eugene Code, <br />1971, is hereby amended to read and provide: <br />2.293 Librar -Board _ Establishment, Membershi Procedure. <br />~2} The board consists of seven members nominated by <br />the mayor and appointed by the council,. <br />Section 3. That the provisions contained herein cancer the <br />public welfare, and in order to insure the orderly implementation <br />of increasing the membership on the Library Board, an emergency is <br />hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall became effective <br />immediately upon its passage by the City Council and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br />Passed by the City Council this <br />~~ day of~~~~, 198_ <br />~.SS,~ City Recorder <br />Approved by the Mayor this <br />a of 198 <br />Mayor <br />ordinance. <br />
