G ~~ AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 22T.215 and Sections 9.218 and 9.558 through 9,584 of the Eugene Code, 2911, the City Council .has the autho rity and responsibility, subject to the 1 imi tations contained therein, to char e 9 the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; . Based upon the report of the Planning Gommi ss i on, the materi a1 s trans-~ mated therew~ th, and the evidence presented before the P1 anni ng Commission and this City Council , the request for zone change c1 assi fi cation i s i n con- formanc a w~ th the General Plan; there i s a pubs i c need for the change i n zone; and the public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; NOW, THEREFORE, Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the specs f~ c aff ~ rmat~ ve f~ nd~ ngs contained i n the P1 anni ng Department staff notes of Dctober 4, 19$3, and November 7, 1983, and the P1 anni ng Commission minutes of Dctober 4, 1983, and November 1, 1983, for the reasons set forth therein and THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. As provided by Section 9.278 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the zone ng map and the zone ng ordinance schedule of district changes are hereb amended to ref 1 ect the fol 1 owi y ng change of zone: Tax Lots 11D7, 1108, and 11D9--Assessor's Map 11~-0435-0 O, as more part~cul arty described on the attached Exhibit A, 1 orated on the southwest corner of Seneca Road and 7th Avenue West. Change of zone from I~-2 Light-Medium Industrial District to C~2/SR Communi t Commercial District with Site Review r ~ y p ocedures, say d s~ to revs ew procedures addressing concerns as set forth in Exhibit B, attached.
