ORDINANCE NO. 1921 <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING PARK AREAS; AN~ENDING SEC- <br />TIONS 4.145 AND 4.190 OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1971; <br />AND DECLARING AN EN~ERGENCY. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Section 4.105 of the Eugene Code, 19?1, is hereby <br />amended by deleting the definition of "Des~,gnated picnic area" con- <br />tained therein. <br />Section 2. Subsection ~.3} of Section 4.190 of the Eugene Code, <br />1971, is hereby amended to read and provide: <br />4.190 Consum tion in Unlicensed Public Places Prohibited. <br />~3~ N~a1t beverages and alcoholic liquor other than hard <br />liquor may be drunk or consumed within city parks or county parks <br />within the city li~its, provided such drinkin or Consum tian <br />g P <br />takes place only as authorized by the director of parks and <br />recreation of the city pursuant to a park rule adapted in accord- <br />ance with the prova.sions of sections 2.512 et seq. of this code <br />and so long as, if so required by state law, the activity has <br />been licensed, in advance, for drinking or consumption ur oses <br />P p <br />by the commission. <br />Section 3.
