ORDINANCE NO. ~~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING RESCUE MISSIQNS; AMEND- <br />ING SECTIONS 9.254, 9.438, 9.450, 9.452, AND <br />9.586 QF THE EUGENE CEDE, 19?1; AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />THE CITY of EUGENE DDES ORDAIN AS FDLLOwS: <br />Section 1. Section 9.254 of the Eugene Code, 19?l, is hereby <br />amended by adding in alphabetical order therein, the following: <br />9.254 <br />Rescue mission, A n©n~profit agency providing <br />food, temporary housing, clothing and other support <br />services primarily for adult, transitory individuals. <br />Section 2. Section 9.438 of the Eugene Code, 19?1, is hereby <br />amended by repealing subparagraph ~_j} therer~f, and relettering sub- <br />paragraphs ~k} through fig} to tj } through. ~.p} . <br />Section 3. Section 9.450 of the Eugene Coder 1971, is hereby <br />amended by relettering the present subparagraphs ~c-1} through <br />~ j -1 } to ~ d-1 } through ~.k-1 } , and adding a new subparagraph ~ c-1 } , <br />to read and provide: <br />9.450 <br />~c-l} Rescue missions in existence on January 1, <br />1984. Expansion sha1~1 be limited to property within <br />600 feet of the dev`e~,opment site existing on January <br />1, 1984. <br />Section 4. Section 9.452 of the Eugene Coder 1971, is hereby <br />amended by adding a new subparagraph fib} thearety, to read and pro- <br />vide: <br />9.452 <br />fib} Rescue missions not in existence on January <br />1, 1984. <br />Section 5. Subsection fib} of Section 9.586 of the Eugene Cade, <br />Ordinance - l <br />
