ORDINANCE NO. ~C~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FO <br />R2vER ROAD WATER DTSTRTCT <br />THAT PART OF THE DTSTRTCT <br />EUGENE BY FINAL ORDER NO. <br />LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY <br />6 , 19 8 3 ; AND DECLA~RxNG AN <br />R WITHDR,P,WIN'G FROM THE <br />OF LANE COUNTY, OREGON, <br />ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF <br />805 OF THE LANE COUNTY <br />COMMISSION ON OCTOBER <br />EMERGENCY. <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene by Resolution No. 3832 <br />adopted February 22, 1984, proposed withdrawal from the River <br />Road Water District of the part of that District annexed to the <br />City on October 6, 1983 by Final Order No. 805 of the. Lane County <br />Local Government Boundary Commission, as hereinafter described. <br />The Resolution set March l4, 1,984 at 12:00 o'clock noon, <br />Pacific Standard Time, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, in Eugene, <br />Oregon, as the time and place for hearing objections to the with- <br />drawal, and directed that notice of the time and place of the hear- <br />ing be published once each week for two consecutive weeks prior to <br />the hearing and be posted in four public places in the City for the <br />same period. <br />The Notice has been so published in the Eugene Register Guard <br />and posted in four public p~,aces within the City of Eugene, Lane <br />County, Oregon. <br />The City desires to assume liability of the District propor- <br />tionate to the part of the District that has been annexed to the <br />City. <br />No party has objected to the withdrawal of the annexed terri- <br />tory from the District, and it is in the best interest of the City <br />that the territory be withdrawn. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Ordinance - l <br />
