ORDINANCE N0. ~ C~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FO. <br />RIVER ROAD CATER DISTRICT <br />THAT PART OF THE DISTRICT <br />EUGENE BY FINAL ORDER NO. <br />LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY <br />~, 1984; AND DECLARING AN <br />ft WITHDRAWING FROM THE <br />OF LANE COUNTY, OREGON, <br />ANNEXED To THE CITY OF <br />815 OF THE LANE COUNTY <br />COMMISSION ON FEBRUARY <br />EMERGENCY. <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene by Resolution No. 3$33 <br />adopted February 22, 1984, proposed withdrawal from the River Road <br />Water District of that part of the District annexed to the City on <br />February 2, 1984 by Final Order No. 815 of the Lane County Local <br />Government Boundary Commission, as hereinafter described. <br />The Resolution set March l4, 1984 at 12:QO o'clock noon, <br />Pacific Standard Time, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, in Eugene, <br />Oregon, as the time and place for hearing objections to the with- <br />drawal, and directed that notice of the time and place of the hear- <br />ing be published once each week for two consecutive weeks prior to <br />the hearing and be pasted in~four public places in the City for the <br />same period. <br />The Notice has been sa published in the Eugene Register Guard <br />and posted in four public places in the City of Eugene, Oregon. <br />The City desires to assume liability of the District propor- <br />tionate to the part of the District that has been annexed to the <br />City. <br />No party has objected to the withdrawal of the annexed terri- <br />tort' Pram the District, and it is in the best interest of the City <br />that the territory be withdrawn. <br />NOW, THEREk'oRE, <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN A~ FOLLOWS: <br />Ordinance - 1 <br />
