~9~y <br />~5~ is hereby added thereto, to read and provide: <br />3.314 Merchant Police A ency - A lication. <br />~3} No agency licensee shall employ an individual as a merchant <br />police I, II ar III without submitting an application for licensing of that <br />individual, nor continue to employ an individual whose license has been sus <br />pended or revoked, nor an individual in a capacity other than that for which <br />licensed. <br />~5~ No agency sha11 employ an individual as a merchant police III <br />without providing to the city at least three business days in advance of the <br />temporary event for which employed, the employes name and date of birth, <br />as well as the license fee for each employe. No application fee shall be <br />required for merchant police III employes. <br />~6~ An agency licensee shall notify the chief of police and the <br />1~cens~ng authority of the termination of any employe within ~4 hours of <br />such termination, and shall recover from the employe and return to the <br />licensing authority any certification card or identification card issued to <br />that employe, <br />Section 4. That the matters contained herein affect the public welfare <br />and safety and therefore,~an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this <br />Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage by the City <br />Council and approval by the Mayor. <br />Passed by the City Council this <br />11th day of June, 1984 <br />/~Q~t~..,c.._ <br />f},~~..
